When Smitty's Classics says they did a complete restoration, you can rest assured that we did, we did it right, and have the confidence to stand behind our work. We don't take shortcuts and don't compromise quality. We offer a warranty to demonstrate our confidence and to provide you the buyer, peace of mind and frankly, don't understand why any reputable builder would not do the same.
After all, there is no clear definition for a restoration. You may hear or see references to: "rotisserie", "frame off", "body off", or "nut and bolt" restorations but there is really no way to know what components have been fixed, replaced ore rebuilt. In many cases you may be looking at a vehicle that has only received body and paint work.
When we do a full restoration, its exactly that. We inspect every component and determine its fitness. If there are any questions, we replace it with a new or rebuilt component.
We don't offer a warranty on everything we sell. Many of the vehicles we sale are listed as builders or cars we decided not to restore. Where our warranty is included, it will be listed with the information about the car.
